Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Oliver Stone's sequel to the 1987 classic starring Michael Douglas as the evil Gordon Gecko, won't be returning to the screen - at least not as soon as everyone thought.

The original release date for the film, also starring Shia LeBeouf, was April 23, but the Hollywood Reporter says it will now be released on Sept. 24. The move to the fall could spell trouble for the film. Purely speculating here, but a move this drastic could mean this: early screenings did not go well.

Perhaps it's back the drawing board for Stone. We'll see if things can get fixed. Until then, the return of the notorious Gordon Gecko will have to wait.
